My Enneagram Type

Hey guys!

So, my older sister has been interested in the Enneagram recently, so I’ve decided to try taking some tests to see what my Enneagram type is at the present.

I have taken personality typing tests before – but the only up-to-date result I have is that I am an INFP from the MBTI personality testing system.

So, here it goes!

I begin by searching “Enneagram test” into google.co.uk…

I click on the first result to take my first Enneagram test! I answer any and all questions as honestly and PRESENTLY as I possibly can. What I mean by this is that I answer the questions as though the scenario in question was just about to occur in a moment, rather than depending on memories of experiences to answer the questions. This gives a result that is accurate and applicable to who I am today, versus a result based on either my image of who I am or on who I have been in the past 🙂

The first google result is eclecticenergies.com/enneagram/test.

It contains two online Enneagram tests, so I will take both 🙂

Okay, so after taking the first test, the results believe me to be a type 4 – more specifically a 4w5.

The second test believes me to be a type 4 too, also with a 4w5 wing, of the self-preservation variant.

Considering that both tests use completely different methods (the first had a page of 9 questions, each representing an Enneagram type, with 3 possible answers (yes, no or partly) for each – there were 14 pages altogether and after a while the questions would lessen as some types would be eliminated (by the 14th page I had only 5 questions per page left) and the second had 50-something pairs of statements, which a scale of 7 options to which you rate the pair of statements), I think it is safe to say that my result for the Enneagram is fairly conclusively a 4w5. I think it would be very unlikely for anything but this result to be true given the amount of possibilities that were available to me for both tests, and getting the exact same result using two different systems.

So, that’s it! I’m a 4w5. An INFP 4w5. Awesome.

It’s always fun to gather more information about yourself 🙂

I will do more personality typing tests so that I have more results besides simply the INFP result and the 4w5 result. I’ll also get my partner to do the second test to see how similar a result he gets to me (we both got INFP-T on the MBTI test, so I’m very curious to see what he gets for this test!) I honestly don’t do tests like these often though because they take me a very long time to do and take a lot of energy and concentration out of me, so it isn’t likely that I’ll do any more tests very very soon. For now I’m pretty content with the personality typing results that I do have.

Below is a mosaic of images from my test taking, followed by the two images of my results 🙂

Harry Potter Obsession.

Hey guys!

I’ve been thinking a lot about good ol’ Harry Potter recently. No, not the character, the story. I think this new obsession has stemmed from noticing an increasing number of Harry Potter themed items in Primark.

I’ve already taken the Pottermore wand, Ilvermorny house and Patronus tests, and have a Chestnut wood wand with a Unicorn Hair core 10 1/4 inch and Brittle flexibility, got into the Pukwudgie Ilvermorny house and have the White Mare patronus.

Now, I wouldn’t want to be reppin’ the wrong house, so of course, I had to take some Harry Potter House tests. Basically, they concluded that I’m a Slytherin. Slytherins are pretty epic, there’s no doubt about that, but they’re not really “me”. If any of you have taken the Pottermore House test recently, you’ll notice that not only is the quiz very different to how it used to be, but the questions also seem rather… Random? I don’t see how a lot of them would even relate to a house, and I honestly have no idea how I came out as a Slytherin. I always used to test as a Hufflepuff, and always play acted being Susan Bones when I’d play Harry Potter with my siblings.

I’m going to do a Harry Potter. My response to the sorting hat saying that I’d do well in Slytherin is “You’re Wrong!” I’m a Hufflepuff. A Slytherin would never even want to be a Hufflepuff. PLUS, if you want to get REALLY intense about the whole thing, I believe in MBTI personality types more strongly than I do the Pottermore sorting hat quiz, and each type generally corresponds to a house. In general:

Gryffindors are: ENTP, ENFP, ESTP and ESFP.

Slytherins are: ENTJ, ESTJ, ISTJ and ISFJ.

Ravenclaws are: INTP, INTJ, INFJ and ISTP.

Hufflepuffs are generally INFP, ENFJ, ISFP and ESFJ types.

See, I’m a bloomin’ Hufflepuff! How could anyone resist their cozy, sunlit common room, full of lively plants? I think if I weren’t a Hufflepuff, I sort-of wouldn’t want to be a Hufflepuff. They’re nothing outstanding, they are just pretty passive and observant, and like to keep the peace. If I were a Slytherin, surely I’d be far too ambitious, leader-oriented, competitive and insensitive to want to be a Hufflepuff? If I were a Gryffindor, surely I’d be too competitive, enjoy being in the spotlight too much and be too much of a leader to want to be a Hufflepuff? If I were a Ravenclaw, wouldn’t I be too academically orientated and too competitive to want to be a Hufflepuff?

I dunno. I’m having a little identity crisis here guys.

I think I’m a Hufflepuff.

I have the Hufflepuff socks to prove it.

From Primark obviously.

Have you taken the Pottermore House test? Which house did you get?! Do you agree with your house? If not, why not take the test real quick and comment below what you get – you just have to quickly make an account, and then answer 10 simple questions to be sorted into a house 🙂 C’mon 90’s kids, where ya’ll at?!?!

P.S. I’m a Hufflepuff, not a Slytherin.

The Lush Tag!

I found this tag on YouTube (boxes of foxes) and thought it would be something fun to do on my blog! I tag any of you people who love Lush (if you haven’t already made a Lush Tag post!)

I hope you enjoy!

1. What is your favourite product? Hmmm, this is a difficult question! I’ll have to take a look at my past Lush reviews to refresh my memory…

Okay, so I’m going to have to say a cleanser, because I just find Lush’s facial cleansers to be absolutely incredible products in general. I’m quite stuck between whether the winner is Let The Good Times Roll or Aqua Marina… Aqua Marina was my favourite for about a year, but now I’m not so certain! Aqua Marina made my skin feel super soft, while making it appear absolutely gorgeous! Let The Good Times Roll just made my skin FEEL absolutely amazing, but many other of the aspects of LTGTR were better than that of Aqua Marina – for example the scent, and the fact that little bits didn’t get stuck in my hairline!

I think I’m going to have to say that LTGTR does it’s job a little bit better than Aqua Marina does – it is just so great at truly clarifying the skin! So my answer is Let The Good Times Roll Fresh Cleanser 🙂

2. What is your favourite Bath Bomb? Okay, so Bath Bombs that I have given a 5/5* rating on my blog are Cheer Up Buttercup, Intergalactic, Butterbear, Pumpkin, Blackberry, Think Pink and Tisty Tosty. Yep, I generally just love Lush’s bath bombs.

Man, this is such a difficult choice to make! I think I’m going to say… Okay, so it’s either Intergalactic, Butterbear or Pumpkin Bath Bomb. This is SO difficult guys! If only they had a bath bomb with the frothiness and scent of Pumpkin, the moisturisation and cuteness of Butterbear and the appearance and name of Intergalactic!

I think it is between Butterbear and Intergalactic, and ultimately I think that Intergalactic is my winner! It just has such an amazing concept and is absolutely beautiful in design!

3. What is your favourite Bubble Bar? Rose Jam Bubbleroon! Honestly, I haven’t tried THAT many bubble bars, because they take me so long to get through! Out of the ones I have tried though, Rose Jam Bubbleroon is definitely my favourite!

4. What is your favourite Bath Melt? Honestly, I’ve only ever used Boo Bath Melt, so I guess he has to be my favourite!

5. What is your favourite Soap? Okay, my 5 star rated soaps from Lush so far are Snowcake, Yog Nog and Sunrise Soap. I think my favourite of the three has to have been Yog Nog soap. Both me and my partner just absolutely loved that one!

6. What is your favourite Shower Gel? Rose Jam Shower Gel! Honestly, I haven’t used that many of Lush’s shower gels, so this was an easy question for me to answer. Okay, so I actually have TRIED a lot of their shower gels, but haven’t used up many, and so have only really formed a full opinion of a few. Rose Jam is amazing!

7. What is your favourite Limited Edition item? My favourite Limited Edition items are Cheer Up Buttercup Bath Bomb, Snow Fairy Body Conditioner, Jumping Juniper Shampoo Bar, Rose Jam Shower Gel, Snowcake Soap, Yog Nog Soap, Sunrise Soap, Celebrate Lotion, Butterbear Bath Bomb and Pumpkin Bath Bomb.

know that’s a lot of products, but it should be fairly easy to cut down seeing as a lot of these products have already been mentioned in previous questions. Out of the Bath Bombs, I liked Butterbear Bath Bomb best and out of the soaps, I liked Yog Nog Soap best.

So, now it is out of Snow Fairy Body Conditioner. Jumping Juniper Shampoo Bar, Rose Jam Shower Gel, Yog Nog Soap, Celebrate Lotion and Butterbear Bath Bomb. I’m going to say either Snow Fairy Body Conditioner or Celebrate Lotion, because I think those are two very special items indeed!

I think my favourite of the two is probably Snow Fairy Body Conditioner – I was absolutely mind blown by how amazing that product was!

8. How many Kitchen products have you had? I think only two actually! I own Tropical Jungle Body Lotion – which has sadly almost run out and is one that I should be reviewing sometime within the next couple of months or so. The other item is Love Soap – I cut in half horizontally that that I could have 2 heart shaped soaps to use up. I’m currently using one in a soap dish by my kitchen sink 🙂

9. How long have you been a Lushie? I’ve been a Lushie for a short while now! I first got into Lush just after a holiday I took in Rome in August 2015. So I’d say around the start of September 2015 – around a year and 7 months 🙂 It doesn’t sound too long, but boy am I a hardcore Lushie! I absolutely LOVE the company, and already have had to place bans on myself because of how insanely huge my collection is becoming!

Feel free to do this tag too!
