Lush Twilight Shower Gel Review

Okay guys, I’m super excited to finally be writing this review! This is such a hyped-up product, and in my opinion that is for very good reason. Last year I was lucky enough to be gifted a £100 Lush gift card for Christmas, and so I bought this shower gel last year in the Boxing Day sale at the Oxford Street store. I’ve only just completely used it up (I’ve been trying to get through so many different body washes at the same time!) So it lasted me just under a year!

I hope you enjoy this review 🙂

Twilight Shower Gel (100g) :

twilight_web

Rating: 5/5*

Cons:

The scent of this shower gel genuinely relaxes me and makes me feel kinda sleepy – which can be a problem if you want to use it in the daytime! This definitely isn’t a pick-me-up or wake-up sort of shower gel.

The lavender scent in the shower gel is pretty strong, so if you’re not a fan of lavender I would really steer clear of this one altogether.

The scent is REALLY STRONG. I know a lot of people prefer mildly scented shower gels – this shower gel does NOT have a mild scent at all.

I don’t know that I ever particularly noticed the shower gel’s scent clinging to my skin very much after using it.

Pros:

I love this shower gel. It’s relaxing, calming, soothing… The scent is like receiving a big hug before bed. I recommend at least giving it a go because wow, I really liked this one!

The colour of Twilight shower gel is beautiful. It is a deep purple colour.

Twilight lathers up beautifully. I’d only need to apply the smallest drop of shower gel to my shower pouf, and it would often be enough to wash my entire body with (and I’m super thorough!) Sometimes I would have to add another small dot of shower gel onto my shower pouf once I had reached my waist, but there would always be lather left behind on the shower pouf when I had done cleaning myself.

Using Twilight will leave your bathroom smelling absolutely gorgeous all day and all night, and pretty much for as long as Twilight is the last cleansing product you used in the bathroom!

There is a real sweetness to the shower gel’s scent, making it not quite so in-your-face of a lavender scent as it would be otherwise. If you imagine mixing the scent of a freshly baked cake with the scent of lavender, that’s the way Twilight smells to me. Like a lavender cake.

The name of this shower gel… Ugh! It’s just so beautiful, mysterious, sleepy, calming and comforting.

When I was a kid, I was very into integrating the night sky into my bedtime. I had a teddy who wore a night hat and pyjammas, completely covered in glow-in-the-dark moons and stars. I also had dark blue bed sheets with dark yellow, bohemian style moons and stars all over them. My mother has always been a huge fan of lavender, and would get me to rub my fingers on lavender plants to smell them when I was a kid. Twilight shower gel brings back those precious, nostalgic, comforting childhood memories for me, through its name, its colour and through its beautiful scent.

Twilight shower gel works very well. It always left me feeling super clean, smooth and slightly moisturised after using it.

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, I am utterly baffled as to why this isn’t available year-round, as Lush would make a massive profit by doing so! I do know that some people hate Twilight, but I’m fairly certain that the vast majority of people feel the same way as me – this shower gel is incredible.

The scent is an absolute dream. It’s feminine, delicate, complex, sweet, rich, has just the right amount of headiness to it, is nostalgic, relaxing… The scent IS very strong, but that’s something I don’t mind much, and definitely isn’t enough to prevent me from wanting to use more of this shower gel in the future.

This is like, quite possibly my favourite body cleansing product that I have used from Lush to date… Okay, I also REALLY enjoyed Rose Jam – I’m not sure which of the two I enjoyed more at the moment!

Anyways, I don’t know what else to say about Twilight Shower Gel. It’s pretty obvious that I’m absolutely in love with it!

Overall, I’m going to rate this shower gel a 5/5* rating. I just think it’s such an amazing product – it’s only genuine faults are that it makes me feel sleepy when I inhale it (and sometimes I don’t want to feel sleepy) and that the scent doesn’t cling to my skin more after using it.  It’s such an incredibly product that it still gets a clear 5* rating from me! I mean, who doesn’t want to use a shower gel that makes them feel like they’re receiving a nice hug? 😀

Lush Serendipity Soap Review

I was lucky enough for my partner to gift me the Relax More gift set from Lush for our anniversary back on the 19th August! This soap came within the gift set. In the little information booklet that comes with the gift set, the soap is called ‘Serendipity’ however the name has now been changed to ‘Lavender Vida Loca’ on Lush’s site – although the ingredients list is identical so I believe they are exactly the same product. Regardless, this is a review for Serendipity 🙂

– A side note: I didn’t take a photo of this soap while I had it, but I can upload a stock photo of it if requested! 🙂

Serendipity Soap:

Rating: 4/5*

Cons:

There are little dried lavender flowers in the top layer of this bar of soap. These little flowers fall out into the sink and on your hands as you use the bar. I personally HATED these little lavender flowers! When wet and by themselves, they look like those little skinny light brown moths! I definitely do not like it to look like bugs are all over my sink and hands 😦

The scent fades a LOT the more you use the soap. If you don’t like when a soap’s scent fades, I’d definitely try a different one.

Like pretty much all of Lush’s soaps, Serendipity will break into lots of separate pieces when it gets toward the end of its days. These little pieces are certainly much more of a pain to use up than when the bar is one solid block.

I found this soap to be very slightly drying on my hands.

This soap clearly has a very floral scent to it. I know a lot of people can’t stand the scent of florals so if you’re one of those people, steer clear of Serendipity!

Pros:

The colours of this soap are absolutely gorgeous. The main creamy layer of the soap is a light lilac colour, whereas the top translucent layer of the soap is more of a dark magenta colour. Either way, this soap looks absolutely stunning, especially for a purple lover like myself! This is definitely a very pretty soap to look at 🙂

I love the scent of Serendipity overall. I think lavender smells lovely. This soap has such a relaxing scent to it, it’s hard for me to resist!

This soap will clean your hands really well 🙂

I think the creamy layer of soap that Serendipity has makes it less drying than most soaps are, and causes the soap to create more of a creamy lather than a super bubbly lather.

The appearance of Serendipty is really pleasing to the eye – it looks like some sort of berry flavoured cheesecake to me!

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, I really enjoyed using this soap. I think it was a lovely gift from my partner, and is definitely one of my more preferred soaps from Lush’s collection. The colours and scent of Serendipity are absolutely gorgeous, and the whole soap looks like a slice of some sort of berry cheesecake!

The little bits that fall out of the soap really did drive me insane, although, this only happened for as long as the soap had that translucent layer on the top of it (as that’s where the dried lavender flowers are embedded,) which faded away fairly quickly as it is a much thinner layer than the creamy layer of the soap.

Overall, I rate Serendipity either a 4 or 5 star rating. I really loved the soap, but it did have some annoying flaws in it! I think I’m going to have to rate it 4/5 stars, because it could do with a couple of improvements here and there.

I do recommend that you give this soap a try if you like the smell of lavender though!

Lush Twilight Bath Bomb Review

Twilight Bath Bomb:

me.JPG

Rating: 5/5*

Cons:

This is quite a feminine bath bomb, in the sense that it leaves the bath water a light purple colour. The bath water left behind by the bath bomb is also filled with lustre, and the colour of the bath bomb itself is a light, pinky purple colour, with an adorable design of a cartoony moon and cartoony stars on it. The scent of the bath bomb is lavender, with a sweet and buttery toffee note to it. Some men and women may not feel uncomfortable bathing with a bath bomb with aspects that are typically perceived as being feminine, so this may not be for everyone!

To me, every product with the Twilight scent that I have smelled so far smell differently from one another. The bath bomb when in it’s solid form does smell typically like the Twilight scent – it smells like both the shower gel and like the Mr Sandman Dusting Powder. However, once in the water, the lavender scent becomes much more prominent than the sweet, toffee scent, which becomes slightly more buttery smelling and much more subdued. If you’re not actually keen on naturey scents and mainly like the Twilight scent for it’s sweetness, perhaps you wouldn’t like the bath bomb!

I had this bath bomb in my collection for around 25 days before using it. In this time, the bath bomb had already become much more soft and powdery. This resulted in the bath bomb sinking in my bath tub, leaving little bath art on the surface of the water. This wasn’t a big deal, and I still really enjoyed what bath art the bath bomb did provide! This bath bomb doesn’t seem to last well in storage though, so if you want to give it a try, try not to hoard it!

The bath water left behind by the bath bomb was a very translucent, pale purple colour – sort of like a much more pale and translucent version of the colour of the bath water that the Blackberry Bath Bomb provides. I honestly expected the bath water to be left more opaque and saturated than it was – this doesn’t leave your bath water super colourful!

Pros:

IMG_6700.jpg

This bath bomb is adorable! It is the cutest little bath bomb I think I’ve ever seen! The design is just absolutely adorable, and is also really comforting and reminds me of the design I had on some of my bed sheets when I was a child. The colour is super cute, the bath water the bath bomb leaves behind is super cute, the concept of the bath bomb is super cute, the scent is super cute… Just everything about this bath bomb makes me really happy! I also received this as a gift from my partner, and I can tell you that this would be an amazing bath bomb to gift someone you care about!

My favourite colour is dark magenta, and I love purpley hues in general. I think the colour of the bath water that Twilight Bath Bomb leaves behind is really pretty, even if I do wish it was more opaque! I also really enjoy the lustre left behind in the bath water 🙂

I think the scent of this product is absolutely amazing! The scent of lavender is quickly becoming a favourite of mine, and with the added hints of sweetness in this product, Twilight Bath Bomb smells very close to perfection to me at the moment! If you enjoy sweet foody scents and also enjoy the scent of lavender, I’d give this product a try!

The bath water left behind by this bath bomb was SUPER moisturising! I was really surprised, because it wasn’t something I expected at all. Twilight Bath Bomb makes for an excellent, nourishing bathing experience 🙂

Overall Conclusion:

IMG_6702.jpg

Overall, I REALLY enjoyed this product! I had such high expectations for this bath bomb as I absolutely adore the Twilight scent and concept, so it was really exciting to finally get to try it out yesterday. I love how adorable and comforting it is, I love the scent of it, I love how nourishing it is, I love how it looks… Sure, it isn’t absolute perfection, but it is really, really close!

Overall, I’m going to rate Twilight Bath Bomb a 5/5* rating. Perhaps it wasn’t a perfect product but it was close enough for me to rate it a 5 star rating 🙂 I HIGHLY recommend giving this product a try and to gift it to your loved ones – any hype around it is for GOOD REASON!

Lush Dreamtime Bath Oil Review

Hey guys!

I received this bath oil in a gift set my partner bought for me for our anniversary! It’s a very new gift set called ‘Relax More’ – I’m very grateful to be one of the first people to have received it! I hope you enjoy this review 🙂

Dreamtime Bath Oil:

adceb2f3-e2dd-48dd-95c5-7683d08b624c (2)

Rating: 5/5*

Cons:

This bath oil is SLIGHTLY messy. I did need to use a simple sponge to get some purple residue off of my bath, but it was extremely to do. If I’m honest, I didn’t clean it off until the next day when I next went to take a bath, and it still came off very easily. But, if reside in your bath is something you’re worried about, perhaps you should try a different product 🙂

The scent of Dreamtime is VERY pungent! It smells strongly of lavender. If lavender is not a scent you are keen on, I’d steer clear of this product.

The purple oils that this product releases will stick to your skin a little when you’re in the bath. This wasn’t a problem for me, because I always use a shower gel and shower pouf to wash myself when I take a bath – residue came right off! But, if you just want to use the bath oil in the bath to relax, and not to actually bathe, this may not the be bath product for you!

Dreamtime made me feel so relaxed and sleepy in the bath that I was genuinely scared that I was going to fall asleep whilst in the bath! You definitely have to be careful with this one.

If you don’t like to feel tired or uber relaxed after your bath, this would be an absolutely terrible bath oil to use. You won’t feel like doing anything at all after taking a bath with Dreamtime!

Pros:

lush (2)

This bath oil is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! It is a beautiful purple colour with a ‘Z’ on the top of it, which has been dusted over with gold lustre. It is seriously pretty, and looks even more beautiful when it melts in the bath!

I found this to be such a relaxing product, seriously. This would be an amazing product to use an hour or two before going to sleep, just to help you wind down and fall asleep easily. I’m someone who has quite a lot of anxiety, and so my mind always races with things I’m stressed out about before I go to bed. If this bath oil can relax someone like me then trust me, it will work for you too!

In my opinion, this bath oil creates a beautiful bath. It doesn’t really colour the bath much at all, but it just leaves your bath feeling super moisturising. It also leaves some gorgeous, lustre-filled purple blobs of oil on the surface of the bath water, which to me looks much like a lava lamp! The bath art with this one is very subtle, which is something I appreciate most when I just want to relax.

I think this one smells absolutely amazing. The entire bathroom smelled so strongly of lavender that whenever I went in to check if the bath oil had melted, I was sure to quickly shut the door behind me (to prevent any of the gorgeous scent from escaping!) If you appreciate the scent of lavender then please, try this bath product. It is very underrated and I’m not quite sure why. I know they changed the formula of it recently but regardless, this is such an amazing product!

This bath oil took a while to melt. Now, usually I don’t like it when bath bombs take a long time to finish fizzing, because I like to watch and take photos and I get bored after a while! With this bath oil though, because there wasn’t much of a “show” either way, I was able to just sit in my room and go on my laptop for a while. It actually made the whole experience even more relaxing, because the experience wasn’t rushed at all. I was also sure to fill the bath with quite hot water, so that it wouldn’t be tepid by time I got in!

The bath water might feel SLIGHTLY oily when you first get in, but once you’ve washed your hair and your body etc, it won’t feel so oily anymore. I also topped up my bath with some cold water, which made moisturising effect of the bath oil more subtle.

After leaving the bath, my legs and skin in general felt PERFECTLY moisturised. I didn’t feel too oily or tacky, and I didn’t feel dry at all either. It was just an absolutely perfect level of moisturisation.

Overall Conclusion:

bbd0e327-c52a-4fc4-a289-79741f3d44dc (2)

Overall, I absolutely loved this bath oil. I don’t even know why I have never tried a bath oil before this one, because they are so cheap and create the perfect bath (at least for me!) I honestly couldn’t have had a more relaxing bath than I did with Dreamtime. I feel like this is a bath oil that would go really well with Tisty Tosty or Sakura bath bomb if you like to mix bath products, because I also found those two to be very subtle and extremely relaxing (although I personally do not like to mix bath products.)

If you are a very active, productive person, and enjoy being that way and don’t enjoy taking time to relax, then maybe this isn’t the bath oil for you. For me though, I think Dreamtime is perfect for those times that you just feel super stressed and down.

Overall, I’m going to give this bath oil a 5/5* rating. I just really couldn’t fault it, and I feel like it a product that every stress-prone person needs in their cupboard for emergencies!

Lush Sugar Scrub Shower Scrub Review

Sugar Scrub Shower Scrub:

Rating: 3/5*

Cons:

This sugar scrub was extremely abrasive to use! Sometimes after scrubbing my legs and arms, I would find little red streaks on my skin where I had used the scrub. If you have sensitive skin, DEFINITELY do not try this scrub!

After using this sugar scrub a few times, it had become rather damp and started to disintegrate. Any part of the scrub that this had happened to became a gel-like consistency, rather than a scrub – the gel was hardly scrubby at all! I think this is because of the scrub being made of sugar, so the scrub easily dissolves into water and combines to form a gel. If you’d prefer a hardier, more resilient scrub, I’d give on of Lush’s salt scrubs a try!

Sugar Scrub has a very herbal scent to it – it smells like fennel, lavender, ginger and slightly zesty. It predominantly smells like fennel and lavender though. I know a lot of people who really are not keen on those sorts of scents!

I didn’t really find that this scrub did THAT much for my skin. It never left my skin extremely soft, smooth or moisturised or anything like that. It wasn’t a mind-blowing product whatsoever.

I found Sugar Scrub to be a little messy, because of the fact that it would dissolve and form that gel-like substance between baths. I kept mine in the lid of a square Lush tin on the side of my bath tub. If you don’t like messy products, I’d give Sugar Scrub a miss!

Pros:

This is a really natural scrub. It’s mostly just sugar and oils. All the ingredients in this product are beneficial to the user to some way or another. It’s nice to know that you’re using such a natural product to exfoliate with 🙂

I really like the colour of Sugar Scrub! It is green, and makes me feel more like I’m using a very natural product that is good for my skin.

Sugar Scrub does work – toward the end of the product, I only had enough scrub left to exfoliate one of my legs. The scrubbed one was definitely felt much more smooth and silky than the unscrubbed one.

The scent of Sugar Scrub is very fresh.

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, I thought this scrub was just fine. It was fresh smelling and appearing product, and did its job (most of the time.) Sometimes the scrub would become too dissolved to work effectively as a scrub, and sometimes it would have the opposite problem, and feel far too harsh on my skin.

Although I enjoyed the freshness of Sugar Scrub’s scent, I’m not the biggest fan of the smell of fennel to be honest.

I don’t really have much more to say about it. It was a little boring to be honest, and wasn’t the best scrub I have used from Lush thus far. I’m going to rate this scrub a 3/5* rating – it did work for the most part, it just could really use some improvements here and there!

Lush Eau Roma Water Toner Water Review

The next time I write a blog post after this one will be sometime after my exams. Probably a bath product and probably next weekend – after a well deserved bath. I won’t be posting after this until then because, yeah, exams. So, I hope you guys enjoy this review and I’ll check in again next weekend!

Eau Roma Water (100g)

Rating: 5/5*

Cons:

This toner water didn’t last as long as I would have liked it to. I can tell you that I received this item on the 1st February this year, and probably first used it the day after I received it. I finished it up today – although, I did have to add a little water to make it last longer on 2 separate occasions, before deciding it was time to say goodbye! So this product lasted me a little under 3 months and well, it just didn’t seem like I had enough time with it! If you don’t want to be repurchasing a toner after under 3 months, don’t buy this product!

I found that quite a lot of product would be used every time I used this toner. I would spritz both sides of a cotton round until damp on both sides, and would also spritz my face until damp. I would then use the damp cotton round to wipe my entire face thoroughly. I found this to be the best way to use this toner. By doing this, I was able to remove a lot of makeup and dirt left behind after cleansing. So again, it does run out quite quickly if you want to use the toner in the most effective way!

Pros:

I really enjoyed this toner water. Gosh, where do I even begin?! It smells like lavender – extremely fresh, natural, floral and lovely! I absolutely love the scent of this toner!

This toner makes a great cleanser and makeup remover on lazy days. At times when I just couldn’t really be bothered to cleanse my face AND tone, I would just use this toner as a cleanser and makeup remover, in the exact same way that I would use it as just a simple toner. It worked AMAZINGLY! Like, really, really well. The cotton round I would use would be covered in makeup, and I would sometimes have to go in with a second or even a third cotton round, because of how much makeup the toner would pick up and how thorough it was! Definitely recommend!

As a toner in itself, this product works amazingly. Eau Roma Water will just take away any left behind cleanser, face mask or dirt residue on the skin – and is absolutely amazing at doing so! If you want a toner that does this job incredibly, this is the one for you!

After using this toner, my facial skin would always, without fail, feel extremely moisturised, soft, supple and smooth. I’m amazed at how well a simple water-based toner could work, but it’s effects truly were amazing!

My skin has looked clearer than it has done since I was a kid since using this toner. I’m not even exaggerating. Granted, my skin certainly wasn’t perfect in texture, but there was a vast improvement for sure. If you have troublesome skin, I’d really recommend you give this toner a go! It also absolutely did not aggravate my skin in any way whatsoever, which I found the tea tree toners from Lush did, so I’d also highly recommend this for sensitive skin types! My skin is combination, acne prone and sensitive, and this toner worked perfectly for my skin.

Using this toner after cleansing or after using a mask leaves your facial skin in a lovely condition. After cleansing or using a mask, I often find my face has residue left behind on it, and is a little tight, uncomfortable and dry. You will still need to moisturise after using this toner, don’t get me wrong, but it does make a great base before doing so. You would never think that you’d even need a toner until you try a good one, trust me! I absolutely do not even know how I’m going to cope without one now (as I am on a Lush ban currently…!) If you find your skin is a little uncomfortable straight after cleansing or using a face mask, you NEED this product!

I believe this toner really helped reduce the appearance of any redness my skin had too. Any blotchy, red appearance of any spots or acne scarring was greatly reduced after using this toner, and any general unsightly red, irritated, blotchy areas of my facial skin completely disappeared. If you want to reduce unsightly redness in your facial skin, give this toner a go!

This toner was super easy to use!

The name of this toner is super cute!

Eau Roma Water Toner Water is a product from Lush – a brilliant company! Any vegan product from Lush is worth a try in my book 🙂

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, I really, REALLY LOVED this toner water!!! Like, REALLY really! It absolutely surpassed my expectations.

One little tip – if you find that you have irritated, dry, oily, combination, sensitive, horrible, acne covered skin then well, don’t go for the products that are usually recommended for that type of skin. You know, the Tea Tree Toner Water, Herbalism Fresh Cleanser, Dark Angels Cleanser etc. I naturally have that horrid, annoying skin type and well, you know what I found? To my surprise, those products did nothing for my skin. Nothing incredible at least. What actually seems to be working, contrary to what I expected, is adding more moisture to my skin, and being more gentle with it. This toner water working so well is an amazing example of just that! My skin used to be so full of acne, that I thought the only way to kill it off would be to use Benzyl Peroxide, Acetone, strong acne cleansers and Salycylic Acid. All rubbing all this stuff on my face did was irritate my skin – it made my acne more bumpy and red, and caused the redness and bumps to spread around. It really messed with the texture of my skin – making it both really dried out and really oily at the same time. Be kind to your skin and it will calm down!

Anyways, so yeah, I really love this toner. It is so basic, and I really thought it would do practically nothing to my skin but boy, was I wrong.

Overall, I’m going to rate this toner water a 5/5* rating! It running out quickly and needing to use a lot of the product in one go was a pain, but the product itself was so amazing that I just couldn’t reduce its rating for such a small issue!

I hope you enjoyed this review. I have just one regular-line toner left to try – Breath of Fresh Air! I won’t be able to purchase it until after I have lifted my ban though, which could be in a really, really long time… (once I’ve used up all 22 of my Lush bath products…) Ah well!

– Storm

I have officially now tried all of Lush’s currently available toners! As of 14/07/17, Eau Roma Water is my official favourite, and I’ll be sure to pick up a big bottle of the stuff once I have the money to do so, as that works out as being best value for money!

Lush Think Pink Bath Bomb Review

Hey guys! Here’s another Lush review 🙂 This bath bomb was a Birthday gift from my perfect mother in October, and I only just used it yesterday! I feel so blessed, it seems almost every product I review was a gift from someone! I guess they all know how much I love my Lush 🙂 I hope you enjoy the review!

Think Pink Bath Bomb:

img_3380-2

Rating: 5/5*

Cons:

This bath bomb has an incredibly faint smell once in the bath. I have read reviews saying that this bath bomb actually has a very strong scent once in the bath when it is extremely fresh, but who knows! Either way, for me this bath bomb’s scent was very, very, VERY subtle once in the bath.

My bath bomb left a little pile of bath bomb dust in the bottom of my bath once it was done fizzing away! This wasn’t a big deal and honestly it was actually quite fun to swish the dust around to dissolve it into the water, but it still wasn’t quite what I would expect to happen with a bath bomb!

img_3391-2

I wouldn’t think of my bath bomb as having been THAT old, but it really started to look it! The flowers on the top turned a dull yellow colour, and one fell off and went missing entirely! I kept this bath bomb in a big cardboard Lush box filled with packing peanuts and other Lush bath bombs and bubble bars, on the floor just outside my bathroom door. I guess I could have kept it further from the bathroom and then the bath bomb would have kept a bit better, but some people literally keep their bath bombs in the bathroom and I would have thought that would be the normal place to keep them, so I would have expected this bath bomb to keep fresh a liiiiiiiiiiiiittle bit longer than it did!

This bath bomb wasn’t incredibly moisturising, but it was somewhat 🙂

Because of all the confetti in the bath and all the powder I had to mix into the bath water, I didn’t really feel like my hair would be properly clean if I had washed it in the bath water, so I had to use the shower head to wash my hair. This isn’t a huge deal, but I do usually find it simpler to just wash my hair in the bath water, and sometimes just quickly rinse it off afterwards!

There wasn’t really any bath art left on the surface of my bath after using this bath bomb. It is definitely a simple one!

The scent that is present is incredibly sweet so if you’re not a person who is keen on sweet scents, I’d steer away from this little guy.

Pros:

img_3382-2

This bath bomb was the cutest thing. Like, absolutely frickin adorable. I loved it so, so, so, so, SO much! It made such a cute gift from my mother and I absolutely loved its design! SO CUTE!

For people who DO like sweet scents, this one would be great for you! Out of the bath, it smelt to me like straight up sugar cake decorations. Like a really, really, really sweet scent, with a slight fruity floral hint. Once in the bath, the scent was sweet but less so, and more fruity, floral and slightly herbal. In the bath, the scent was INCREDIBLY subtle, but overall quite pleasant 🙂

The bath water this bath bomb gave was super girly. It also would make an absolutely perfect Valentines day bath bomb so if you’d like to gift somebody loads of bath bombs or something, you could definitely add this one to their gift along with all the bombs from the Valentine’s Day range! The bath water turns a subtle, see through pink colour, with little heats swirling around everywhere. A very romantic and girly bath indeed!

This bath bomb is super affordable and although it is small, its effects aren’t any less than a bigger bomb’s. Perhaps its ingredients are just more compact or something, I don’t know, but it definitely works just as well as bigger bath bombs! It leaves a lovely colour, loads of confetti hearts, a beautiful scent (although the scent is very subtle,) and lovely, soft, lightly moisturising bath water. Using this bath bomb was overall a really lovely experience!

Again, this was a gift and was an incredible one at that. I’d definitely highly recommend giving this to someone as a gift because it is just the cutessssst thing!

This bath bomb is vegan and from Lush!

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, I loved this bath bomb. It is absolutely adorable. Incredibly cute! I loved it sooooooooooooooo much and it being a gift just made it THAT much better! The scent could have done with being a lot stronger, and the bath bomb could have stood up against time a little better. I also would have preferred if the bath bomb dust DID dissolve in the water while fizzing away, rather than me having to do that myself. There were definitely some cons to this bath bomb but overall it was really sweet 🙂

Taking everything into consideration, I’m going to give this bath bomb a 5/5* rating! It was just so cute that despite all of its flaws, I enjoyed using this bath bomb so, so much! My highest rated bath bombs so far have generally been ones that I consider to be somewhat underrated – it just goes to show right?! You should always give EVERYTHING a go, because everyone is so unique and YOUR holy grail product probably won’t be the same as what somebody else’s will be!
