Lush Tooth Fairy Tooth Powder Review

Tooth Fairy Tooth Powder:

Rating: 4/5*

Cons:

I don’t like the taste of this tooth powder. To me, it doesn’t taste of strawberry at all, whilst being labelled a “Strawberry Tooth Powder.” To me it tastes like sweetener, mixed with some sort of powdery tasting sweet, mixed with the taste of these teddy bear shaped multivitamins I used to have when I was a kid… This tooth powder tastes REALLY bad to me, and only has a slight, general berry flavour to it. That being said, my partner really likes the taste of this tooth powder! If you are a bit picky with flavours of toothpaste, I’d avoid this one!

This is quite a feminine tooth powder. It is called “Tooth Fairy,” is pink and sparkly, has pink packaging and is strawberry flavoured – all somewhat feminine features! This means some men might feel uncomfortable using this tooth powder, which I think sucks!

My teeth and mouth in general doesn’t always “feel” perfectly clean. I don’t know if it is because of the flavour of the tooth powder or what it is.

Pros:

I think the concept for this tooth powder is really cute, and may motivate little girls to brush their teeth! Children seem more tolerant of sweet tastes, so perhaps they would even enjoy the taste of this tooth powder.

This tooth powder doesn’t contain fluoride, which is something that I personally like. Some people prefer to have fluoride in their toothpaste which is completely understandable, as it is recommended by health professionals. I personally prefer a less harsh approach to keeping myself healthy, but each to their own!

This tooth powder really works. The difference in the appearance of my teeth before and after brushing with this tooth powder is definitely noticeable. Tooth Fairy makes my teeth look much more white, bright and clean. They also feel super clean to the touch after brushing.

I really like this format of toothpaste. I think it is easier to use up every last bit of product when in this format, which is something I always found difficult to do with conventional toothpaste. I also found that with the toothy tabs, sometimes I’d need to use more than one tab to properly cleanse my mouth however with tooth powders, I have extremely rarely needed to dab my brush into the powder a second time whilst brushing. I also find that tooth powder foams up much easier than both conventional toothpaste and the toothy tabs. Tooth powders last a good amount of time too! You would think that this format of toothpaste would be messy, but honestly, I’ve dropped more toothy tabs into my sink than I have spilled tooth powder.

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, I hated the taste of this tooth powder but everything else about it was on point. I love the whole concept of this tooth powder, and love tooth powders as a form of toothpaste in general! My favourite tasting of the three tooth powders is Ultrablast without a doubt!

I’m going to give Tooth Fairy a 4/5* rating. It worked amazingly, I just wish it tasted a little better! I do HIGHLY recommend anyone curious about Lush’s tooth powders to try Ultrablast though – absolute game changer for me!

Lush Rehab Shampoo Review

Rehab Shampoo (100g):

Rating: 5/5*

Cons:

I find Lush liquid shampoos to make my hair a little bit tangled. It isn’t a huge issue, but it is definitely something I did notice occur with this particular shampoo.

The scent is very strong! To me it smells like sweet fruit, lavender, mint and tea tree. Mostly mint and tea tree to me, although it actually does not contain any tea tree whatsoever! If you don’t like those sorts of scents, I’d try a different Lush shampoo.

It was very difficult to know how much of this product I would need to use at a time. This shampoo is somehow super inconsistent! Sometimes I’d only need the tiniest amount to lather up my entire head of hair, and other times I’d have to add additional shampoo to my hair 3 or 4 times before being satisfied with the lather.

I don’t fully like the name of this product. Rehab is a word with many negative associations – things I don’t particularly want to pop into my mind whenever I go to wash my hair! I haven’t even be to rehab, but I’m sure this name would be even more disturbing for anyone that has!

Rehab is a very simple shampoo – some people only love Lush for the colourful, creative, innovative, unusual looking products! If you just find simple products to be boring, I’d try a shampoo bar instead!

Pros:

I personally love the scent of this shampoo. It was so unexpected, because most of the ingredients are fruit juices. It really does smell like mint, tea tree and a hint of lavender. It is just the most clarifying, clean smell and I absolutely love it! It also has a sweetness to it, that reminds me of the scent of hard boiled minty sweets.

I think the scent of this product does wonders for your mind too. The clarity of the scent just makes you feel refreshed, de-stressed, clear and ready to start the day with a fresh mind. If you are a person that experiences negative moods / negative ways of thinking frequently, I’d highly recommend you try this shampoo!

Again, for a friend who experiences negative moods often, this would make a really thoughful gift to them! The name might be a tad offensive, but if you just explain to them that the purpose you thought they would like the product is how clarifying and uplifting the scent is, I’m sure they’d be very appreciative!

Okay, so the name is a little odd. BUT, it does make my mind instantly start playing Amy Winehouse’s ‘Rehab’ in my mind – which isn’t such a bad thing!

The consistency of this shampoo is really lovely, as is the colour of it! It is just a super pale, transparent cream colour. Really simple and nice 🙂

I found this shampoo to be quite softening on my hair, and found that it generally lathered up quite well.

This shampoo cleans hair very well.

I found Rehab to have a slightly thickening effect on my hair!

My hair has seemed stronger recently than it usually does. I have extremely fine blonde hair, and usually it feels quite weak. I definitely think Rehab has helped with the strength of my hair!

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, I think this was a really nice shampoo. It was pretty basic, but felt somewhat like a staple product – everyone could do with a bottle of Rehab in their shower!

Honestly, I didn’t notice any massive change when using this shampoo. My hair does seem thicker and healthier than it used to, but I still lose a lot of hair whilst in the shower, my hair still gets greasy quickly etc. I think that I do overall like this shampoo – it just isn’t absolutely perfect I suppose!

Overall, I’m going to rate Rehab a 4 or a 5 star rating. It is difficult to pick between the two… I’m rating Rehab a 5/5* rating. I was going to give it a 4* rating but honestly, my hair has just been in much better shape recently, which will at least be partially due to Rehab. I’ve hardly been noticing any split ends in my hair and my hair has been both thicker and stronger.

Lush Layer Cake Soap Review

I’ve had this soap since January last year, and only just used it up! Here is my review of it. I hope you enjoy! 🙂

Layer Cake Soap (100g):

Rating: 3/5*

Cons:

This soap never really lathered up very well. Like, never. The lather was always extremely mild – only just enough to wash the hands with. If you like a strong lather then steer clear from Layer Cake!

The scent of this soap is a little plain. It smells generally soapy, with a fruity scent mixed in to it. My piece consisted of a blueberry and a raspberry portion of soap, and it smelled… Well, generally fruity I guess!

This wasn’t the most moisturising of soaps – in fact, I found it to be somewhat drying to be honest. Not majorly, but definitely somewhat.

The colour of the soap seems to just disappear with the more you use it. With the last week or so of using the soap, the colour of it was an extremely mild, translucent blue-purple colour. It reminded me of when you suck on an ice lolly only to find that afterwards, the ice lolly is just an icy colour because you just consumed all the flavour and colourings from it!

The blueberry portion of the soap didn’t smell brilliant to me. It was okay, but it was quite a dry, powdery smell (if that makes any sense…) It reminded me of the smell of these blueberry flavoured vitamins I used to take as a kid. Not great!

Pros:

I think that in general, the colour of the soap is nice – especially originally. My piece was half raspberry pink and half a dark blue-purple colour. Dark magenta is my favourite colour, so anything pinky-purple wins my vote!

Although the lack of lather had my worrying, this soap did clean my hands very well.

Although the scent wasn’t necessarily anything special, I did really enjoy it. I love fruity scents, and the raspberry half of the soap smelt especially lovely. It smelled like delicious, sweet raspberry scented candy.

I think the idea of this soap is lovely. You never know what piece you’ll get if you get this soap in a gift set (like I did) or if you order online. I love how many differrent flavours the soap consists of, and the amount of combinations you could end up with! The original block of soap truly looks like one of those rocket ice lollies!

I received this as part of a gift, and it did make a really nice gift!

This soap suited the season really well – it smelled like summer berries, so it would be a great one to use in Spring and Summer (although honestly, berry scents go quite well in Winter and Autumn too!)

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, I think this soap was nice, but not anything incredible. It didn’t lather well, was a little drying on my hands and became a washed out colour by the end of its days. I also wasn’t super keen on the scent of the blueberry scented portion of my soap. I did like the raspberry scent though, and the soap worked really well and looked beautiful. It was also exciting to almost have 2 soaps in one!

I’m going to rate this soap a 3/5* rating (a rating that my partner also suggested!) Before writing the review, I suspected the soap would get a 4/5* rating. I suppose writing out all the pros and cons changed my mind a little! It was a really nice soap, it just wasn’t amazing!

Lush Atomic Tooth Powder Review

Hey guys!

I said in a post a while ago that I wouldn’t be trying and reviewing Lush’s tooth products. I lied. Nah, I really thought I wouldn’t, but I guess I changed my mind 🙂 Here is my review of Atomic – I hope y’all enjoy!

Atomic Tooth Powder:

Rating: 5/5*

Cons:

This tastes STRONGLY of cloves. If you HATE the scent or taste of cloves, keep away from this guy. You’ll be tasting cloves for a while after using this product!

This is a product that I believe works on bicarbonate of soda, and you can really taste it! If that bothers you then none of Lush’s tooth powders are going to sit well with you.

This product, as well as all of Lush’s tooth products, contains 0 fluoride. I don’t believe that brushing one’s teeth with fluoride is the ONLY way to maintain healthy teeth, and like to believe that Lush have come up with an alternative, natural way that works not just as well, but better. I have watched Youtube videos and have people I know in person who have said that after using this product and going to the dentist, the dentist has said that their teeth have improved since the last time they visited. However, for some people, this product not containing fluoride could be a con!

This product doesn’t just taste of clove and bicarbonate of soda, but it really does taste extremely strong in general. If you don’t want to be brushing your teeth with something that tastes extremely strong, back off yo.

To use this tooth powder, you have to dab a mildy wet toothbrush directly into the pot of powder, to coat the top of the bristles in a nice thin and even layer of the powder. Dipping directly into the pot will unavoidably eventually cause some formation of blobs of product. I’m having difficultly explaining this, but I’m sure you can imagine what I’m trying to say. Anyways, when this happens, those blobs of product are more difficult to apply to the toothbrush than straight up powder. For the last time I brushed my teeth with Atomic, the final bit of product was actually mixed with a tiny bit of water from all the times I had dabbed my toothbrush in there, so it was like trying to coat my toothbrush in a very thin cream. It wasn’t a great experience!

The foam produced by this toothpaste is a brown colour. If that sounds off-putting to you, perhaps try a different Tooth Powder instead!

Pros:

I really enjoyed the novelty of this product! It was far more fun to use than regular toothpaste and although I have heard people saying things along the line of “You’re an adult, you shouldn’t need teeth brushing to be fun…” I still personally like to have fun while brushing my teeth!

The fact that this product doesn’t contain fluoride makes me quite happy.

My entire mouth always looked and felt so incredibly clean after using Atomic!

I have quite a sensitive mouth and often experience bleeding gums, develop ulcers and experience pain in my gums when brushing my teeth. With Atomic, I didn’t experience any of that at all. I’m not big on the theory that if you have sensitive gums, you just need to keep torturing them until they become hard and resistant. Imagine if someone said that to people with sensitive facial skin… “Just scrub it real hard every day, go through the pain and the bleeding, until your face no longer bleeds from being scrubbed!” It just sounds ridiculous to me personally!

This product froths up so incredibly well – far better than the Toothy Tabs I have tried and far better than regular toothpaste too!

My father used to use clove oil on his teeth to help relieve toothaches. Cloves are known to do this by numbing the area somewhat, which I think is one of the main concepts of this tooth powder. It is advertised as being cleansing and soothing, gentle but powerful. I think this is also why I didn’t experience any pain or discomfort of any sort whilst brushing my teeth, which I’d often feel with normal toothpaste! I think this is absolutely brilliant 🙂

At first, I really wasn’t sure about the scent or taste of this product but by the end of my pot, I definitely began associating the scent and taste with having a lovely clean mouth!

The pot this product comes in counts toward your 5 black pots for a free face mask!

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, this tooth powder was fab. I’d love to try more tooth products from Lush! This cleaned my teeth so much better than regular toothpaste yet felt so much gentler and healthy. I really enjoyed it!

I’m going to rate this product a 5/5*. It not only worked extremely well but is also obviously a pretty natural product and most of all, I didn’t experience any pain or bleeding whilst using it! I really enjoyed the novelty of brushing my teeth with a product in a different format too. I really wasn’t keen at first, but I continued to use it until it was all gone – and now I truly miss it!

I hope you enjoyed my review.

Lush Trichomania Solid Shampoo Review

Trichomania Solid Shampoo (100g):

IMG_4007 (2)

Rating: 5/5*

Cons:

This shampoo bar can be a little bit messy. It is a solid product, and you buy it “naked.” This means that it can leave behind residue wherever you set it down after washing your hair. It also means that this bar changed shape and texture over the course of its life, due to absorbing moisture. This solid shampoo is particularly soft to start with, so it becomes sticky and leaves behind  residue/changes shape/texture even more so than other solid products that Lush do. If you just aren’t a fan of the concept of Lush’s solid products in general, this one is no different – so steer clear!

This shampoo smelled like nuts to me, almost like peanut butter actually. It smelled closer to how I’d imagine almond butter would smell though – peanut butter’s sweeter cousin. It was a nice smell to me at least, but some people might really hate it!

This product seems to run out pretty quickly.

I find this shampoo to be more moisturising than most, meaning that my hair would get greasier quicker than usual whilst using it. I had to wash my fringe daily whilst using this shampoo because if I left more than a day between washing it, it would look pretty damn greasy!

This is an extremely simple looking product. It just looks like a chunk of cream coloured soap. If you are after an exciting looking product than maybe this one isn’t for you.

Pros:

This shampoo made my hair SO soft. Like, the softest a Lush shampoo has ever made my hair, without doubt. EXTREMELY soft!

This shampoo moisturised my hair. I have had so much less static since switching from Cythia Sylvia Stout to Trichomania, and I am SO GLAD for it! My hair feels really lovely after using this shampoo.

Even if my fringe (and sometimes my roots) would get greasier quicker than usual whilst using this shampoo, the rest of my hair wouldn’t. This shampoo was almost like a miniature treatment for my hair – it really nourished it and kept it looking and feeling so much healthier than usual!

I thought the smell was pretty nice! I love nutty smells 🙂

This is obviously a solid product, which makes it super travel-friendly 🙂

This shampoo lathered up SO WELL! It produced a lather extremely quickly whenever I went to use it, and the lather itself would be frothy and extremely creamy.

This shampoo always cleaned my hair so well!

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, I honestly loved this shampoo guys. It is so incredibly underrated – why is it so underrated?!? I honestly wouldn’t have tried this shampoo out for the longest time had I not been randomly sent some as a sample with one of my Lush samples. I think because the Solid Shampoo Bars are so popular, the Solid Shampoos just get given far less attention. This shampoo is a real game changer though.

My hair is very fine, quite long (below shoulder length,) blonde, thin and straight. It is also all natural and is completely unprocessed. My hair gets greasy pretty quickly but at the same time, the majority of my hair (anything that isn’t either my fringe or my roots) is pretty dry and lacking in moisture. I find fine, thin, straight hair is not only more prone to oiliness due to how easily oils can spread around the hair, but that is also more prone to dryness due to how difficult it is for this hair type to retain moisture. Basically, this sort of hair is the equivalent of combination skin – both dry and oily at the same time 😀

I’m going to have to give this product a 5/5* rating. It was pretty amazing, and I’m genuinely sad that I used up my piece. Usually I’m actually happy when I use up a product, because it means I get to write a review on it and that I get to try something new instead. I really miss it though!

I would HIGHLY recommend trying this shampoo out. TRUST me! It is absolutely wonderful!

Lush Snow Fairy Body Conditioner Review

Hey guys! So this is another beautiful product I was able to purchase in the Boxing Day sale at Lush, using my £100 gift voucher that my amazing partner got me as a Christmas gift!

I hope you all enjoy this review!

(Sorry about the terrible quality of the photo below…)

Snow Fairy Body Conditioner (100g)

img_3476

Rating: 5/5*

Cons:

This moisturiser can make your hands feels reeeeeeeeeeeally nasty after you’re done applying the conditioner to everywhere you want on your body. Like, super gross! You really need to wash your hands after you are done after washing the body conditioner. This is a bit of a shame because I guess it means that you can’t moisturise your hands with it!

If you DON’T wash your hands after using it and touch your hair in any manner afterwards, I promise you, you’ll regret it! Prepare to have to wash your hair again sooner than usual… Especially if you have a fringe! Because of the transfer of product into my hair, even after very vigorously rinsing my hands in the bath after finishing with using the body conditioner, my hair looked quite greasy the morning after. I had to wash my fringe again less than a day after already having washed it!

Okay, so again with problems with the moisturisation factor of this product. After you’ve done using this product in the bath or shower, that bath/shower is going to be suuuuuuuuuuper slippery – very dangerous! Also, if you use the body conditioner on your feet while in the shower, and then stand up… I swear I felt like I was standing on ice sometimes, trying to ground myself to prevent myself from slipping over! This is quite a dangerous product.

Snow Fairy Body Conditioner is a very sweet product, and could very well not be to everyone’s liking.

Snow Fairy Body Conditioner is also very pink and sparkly, which makes it quite girly. Actually, the concept of the entire product is very girly – the name, the scent, the colour… This might not be one for the lads, although I’d not say that men shouldn’t try the product altogether! I know some men who absolutely adore Snow Fairy Shower Gel! In general though, this is more of a product directed toward females than males.

If you happen to LOVE this product, then I almost feel sorry for you. It is a Christmas Exclusive item at Lush, meaning it was only available for a couple of months during the Winter. It also means that, if you’re unlucky, it might not even return next Winter… If you happen to fall in love with this product, good luck trying to stock up on the stuff!

I found that this product ran out fairly quickly. I bought it on Boxing day and used up the last bit yesterday. Okay, so that’s 2 months and 2 days, which might seem like a long time for some people. But I didnt actually use the product THAT often – maybe around once every week or every other week. This isn’t tooooo bad, but I definitely used it up faster than other lotions I have received from Lush!

It takes quite a lot of product to truly moisturise your body using Snow Fariy Body Conditioner. I found that it would absorb into my skin almost instantly, so I’d keep re-applying the product until there was at least a tiny bit of noticeable surplus residue. I did this to ensure I was fully moisturised, and it would take quite a bit of product to do so!

Pros:

Despite all the cons listed above, I’m kinda in love with this product. The concept is just so adorable and girly, and definitely makes me feel that way too! It is an adorable, light, bubblegum pink colour with a sparkly blue-purple lustre sprinkled on the top of the product. It smells like straight up bubblegum, and is called Snow Fairy… Super girly!

The scent is gorgeous. It is different to Snow Fairy Shower Gel. The shower gel smells extremely sweet, almost like sugar itself. This body conditioner however smells a lot more subdued in terms of sweetness, although it is still very sweet. It smells quite creamy and buttery too, and even has a very slight muskiness to it. It is like comparing the scent of a sickly sweet hard boiled sweet to the icing on a doughnut. It is just creamier and less sugary smelling! I LOVE it!!! Good enough to eat!

This product was able to fully moisturise parched areas of my body that I wasn’t even aware were parched… After applying this product to certain areas of my body, I’d find it would disappear into my skin almost instantly. Once I had added enough for there to be a tiny bit of excess residue evident, those areas of my body would feel extremely nourished and supple.

I actually found that using this product after shaving prevented ingrown hairs and any shaving rash I could have expected after shaving in the past. Absolutely brilliant!

Snow Fairy Body Conditioner is mild enough to be fine to use on sensitive areas of skin on the body. Now my entire body can be super moisturised!

Everything is just easier to do when in the bath or shower. Using this product rather than a lotion meant that it was extremely easy to moisturise anywhere on my body without getting lotion on anything, and being able to rinse off any excess meant that I was able to feel clean and smooth rather than sticky and tacky. If moisturising is a bit of a chore for you, try a body conditioner from Lush. You will still need to take the time to moisturise, but it does make the process a little bit easier and more comfortable.

This product made bath time way more fun. I love taking baths, because it is the time where I get to use a whole bunch of my Lush products. I mostly used this product during my baths rather than showers, which also negated the danger of slipping over after applying the product to my feet! Definitely the perfect pamper companion!

I got this product for 50% off, and if it is available next Winter too, you’ll also be able to get it for 50% off if you are lucky in the Boxing Day sales!!! Absolute BARGAIN!!! The product literally cost £3.98, and even then, I was lucky enough to get it with a Gift card (so it actually cost myself nothing!)

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, I loved this body conditioner. I know this was a super long review, and that’s because it is a very interesting product! It does take a little practice to perfect the application process of this product, but once you have the hang of it, this product is an absolute beauty.

I’m going to rate this product a 5/5* rating. As long as you’re CAREFUL in the shower and bath, and take precautions, I think this product is absolutely amazing. The only real downside to me is the fact that it is dangerous. It really isn’t difficult for me to imagine someone slipping in the shower after applying this to their feet, and cracking their head open… Just please be careful with these body conditioners guys, seriously!

1. If you choose to apply this product to your feel while in the shower, the remainder of your shower should be taken SITTING DOWN. DO NOT risk slipping over, seriously, it isn’t worth it.
2. Try to limit yourself to using this product only when taking a bath! This limits any risk sooooo much!
3. Make sure the shower or bath tub isn’t slippery once you’ve finished your shower/bath. You wouldn’t want to cause any future accidents…
4. I absolutely would not let children use this product by themselves if under the age of 16 in the shower. This might sound ridiculous, but at this age they are still their parent’s responsibility. I’d not risk a serious injury from occurring! Tell them to use it in the bath instead!

Thank you for reading! – Storm

Lush Respect Your Elders Soap Review

Hey everyone! First and foremost, I want to briefly go over my method for writing my reviews, so that anyone reading them knows the basis in which my reviews were written. If you’d like to skip straight ahead to the review, just scroll down a little 🙂

Before anything else, my method of course consists of my obtaining a product from Lush. This could be as a gift from somebody, a sample or a full product.

The second step of my method is to try out the product in a “proper” way. This basically just using the product in a way so that I am not wasting any, and in a way that it will actually work to the best of its ability. While doing this, I will be thinking about the product and all its little unique aspects.

The next step to my method is to COMPLETELY finish up the product that I have – be it a sample, miniature size of the product, regular size or anything in between. This is so that I have a fully informed opinion of the product and the entire experience of using it. This is a very important step to me, because reviewing a product after one use, say a soap, is like reading the first page of a book in my eyes. I want to have an opinion of the entire product experience so that afterwards I know how much I truly like, and would like to repurchase, that product or not.

Once the product is completely finished, I upload my review of it!

My overall mission here is to find my favouite of each product type Lush sells, so that I can ultimately just primarily keep repurchasing that one product of that category – so my favourite shampoo, my favourite conditioner, my favourite soap, favourite body wash product etc.

I hope you enjoy my review today!

Respect Your Elders Soap (100g):

Rating: 4/5*

Cons:

This soap becomes absolutely disgusting once you reach the center of the soap. I’m not even joking. It started breaking up into pieces, and those pieces turned pale and kinda grey and honestly, looked like chunks of brain. That’s how my partner described the soap’s appearance once it had reached that point and honestly, I totally agree. It looked so flipping nasty!

Once the soap gets really broken in and turns soft, it doesn’t lather up super easily like it would before. It kinda goes mushy and yeah, it becomes more of a challenge to obtain a proper lather from the product.

I don’t know if this is just because of it being a soap in general or what, but I found this soap to be somewhat drying to my hands. Not extremely so, but definitely somewhat.

The name is… I dunno! It makes me feel like I’m supposed to be an elderly person using the soap or something..? I know that is ridiculous and stupid, I’m just not a fan of the name of this one! It is also a bit of a mouthful to say to be honest!

Pros:

This soap is purple!!! I didn’t take a photo of the soap before I started using it unfortunately (I only actually do that for the bath products I use – I shall get into the habit of photographing my products ASAP!) It is just… ugh. Super flipping gorgeous. It was a very, very dark purple, with a yoghurty lighter purple shade on the top of it. Absolutely gorgeous! Here’s a photo that I have found that looks very similar to how my piece of soap did. I found the image on Becky Bedbug’s blog post:

respect-your-elders-soap

This soap lathers up quite nicely. Before you reach the center of the soap, the soap lathers up absolutely wonderfully. A very creamy lather that appears super easily. Once you reach the center of the soap, the lather is more difficult to obtain but is still very creamy.

The texture of the soap, again, until you reach the center, is lovely. The soap has a rougher, bumpy texture on the top of it, that feels really nice as you massage the bar into your hands. This bumpiness also makes the soap very slightly exfoliating, and allows for a very easy lather. It also makes the soap more interesting!

The smell was lovely. It smelled like dark, rich berries. If you like fruity berry smells then I promise that you’ll love the smell of this soap!

The soap worked well and did its job at cleaning my hands!

Respect Your Elders is slightly moisturising, which is a nice touch.

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, this soap was really nice when I was first using it, before the soap started breaking up into pieces. I was actually really pleasantly surprised by this soap. I have hardly heard anyone speaking about this soap at all – in fact, I think I haven’t actually heard anyone mentioning this soap. It is so nice though, so it is a shame that it doesn’t get much attention! I enjoyed this soap, but it was also far from perfect…

I’m going to rate this soap a 4/5* rating, because it was really nice but could definitely do with some major tweaks!
