Lush Igloo Soap Review

Hey guys!

So this was a Christmas exclusive soap from Lush back in 2016. I purchased a good block of the stuff (yellow in colour) and have only just finished it using it up! I bought SO many soaps that year that I’ve just been slowly making my way through them. I still have 5 other soaps from that year that I’m working on using up! Regardless, I hope you enjoy this review 🙂

Igloo Soap (100g):

Rating: 4/5*

Cons:

My piece of this soap was yellow (I believe you could get the soap in either red, orange, green or yellow.) The colour of this soap was so vibrant that it would leave bright yellow marks on my sink! It washed off easily, but it just meant having to wash the sink more often to keep it looking nice.

I don’t particularly remember my hands being soft or feeling moisturised when I used this soap. If anything, it was very, very slightly drying to my hands.

Although I really liked the colour of the soap, it was pretty basic and didn’t really “go” with anything in the bathroom. It was just plain in design – no lustre or other colours swirled in there or anything, and was such a bright yellow that I could only see it looking good in a predominantly yellow room.

The scent of this soap is mainly citrus (lemon,) and I know that a LOT of people are very bored and tired of all the citrus scented products that Lush makes!

Pros:

I LOVED the scent of this soap personally! It smelled like lemon flavoured turkish delight – a soft, sweet, icing-sugary, powdery, lemony, rosy scent. It is definitely one of the best smelling Lush soap that I have used thus far!

The smell would always cling to my hands after using it. The scent of the soap is non-offensive because of how soft of a smell it has, so the scent clinging to my hands was never a bad thing.

The colour of this soap was gorgeous. It was a delicious, bright, zesty, lemony yellow colour. Super uplifting to look at!

Igloo soap always did a good job of washing my hands thoroughly.

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, this was a nice soap. I loved the scent of it, but besides that… I just really don’t have too much to say about this product overall! Besides the scent it was honestly a pretty basic soap.

Overall, I’m going to rate Igloo soap a 4/5* rating. It was a nice soap and was better than average – it just wasn’t anything special really!

My Christmas Wishlist!

Hey guys!

I thought I’d write my Christmas Wishlist here for fun :3 I don’t expect anybody to buy me anything on this list, but it’s fun to use your imagination to think about what you’d pick for yourself if you were your own Santa! Heck, I’ll probably end up treating myself to many things on this list in the end anyways!

  1. Lush Eyes Right Mascara:
eyesrightI really want to try this mascara! I love Lush’s makeup, and use the Light Yellow Colour Supplement and the Sugar Plum Fairy Lip Tint pretty much daily! I know that I would use this mascara, and the Oxford Street store has a nice version of Eyes Right that comes in a long tube with a longer mascara wand. Perfect seeing as the Oxford Street store is the quickest one for me to get to!
  2. Lush Independent Eyeliner:
    independent
Again, I’d just love to try more of Lush’s makeup range, because it really seems to work very well for me! It agrees with my skin for the most part, and definitely enhances my more positive facial features whilst dulling down the more negative ones. Also, I haven’t used liquid eyeliner in so long and I feel like having one from Lush would encourage me to be a bit more adventurous with my makeup! All I use at the moment is foundation (which I never used before obtaining it from Lush, and now I could hardly live without it,) and a lip tint (never used to use bold colours and again, couldn’t go without using it now!)
  3. Lush Emotional Brilliance Translucent Powder:
    emotional brilliance.JPG
Another makeup product! I’ve heard so many amazing things about this powder so I’m absolutely dying to try it out! The packaging on the powder I use at the moment always cracks and although the colour is a perfect match to my skin tone, it leaves the texture of my face looking… Meh… I’ve heard that Lush products combine and work best with other Lush products, so I’m really excited to see how Emotional Brilliance Translucent Powder will look on top of my Light Yellow Colour Supplement.
  4. Lush Veganese Conditioner (1kg) :
    veganese
Kinda like the above picture, only a 1kg version 😉 I absolutely adore this conditioner – in fact, it is my favourite conditoner from Lush, and thus my favourite conditioner full stop! I’d love to just stock up and have tons and tons of the stuff so that it will be more cost effective and last me longer before I next need to repurchase any. I also haven’t actually used a conditioner in my hair since… Well… A really, really long time ago (between 6 and 9 months ago…) I’d really appreciate being able to condition my hair with a quality conditioner again!
  5. Eau Roma Water Toner Water (250g) :
    eau roma water
I really, really miss having a toner. Especially THIS toner. A 250g supply would last me far longer than my 100g one did. I just feel like this is such an essential product for me and I hate not being able to use it!
  6. Jason And The Argan Oil Shampoo Bar:
    Jason_argan_oils_web
I haven’t been using a shampoo for a while – ever since my Brazilliant shampoo bar ran out about a week ago. I’ve just been using shower gel in my hair since then! I do have little bits of shampoos here and there, but I’d love a nice fresh shampoo bar 🙂 I’ve never tried Jason And The Argan Oil – but it smells SO good!
  7. A £75 Primark Gift Card:
    Primark Gift Card Giftcardcentre_co_uk
Honestly, I just absolutely love myself some Primark! I find shopping there to be fairly stressful, but very, very fun. They always seem to have something I like and I’m still in search of some new pieces to replace some old items of clothing I have, so a Primark Gift Card would just be absolutely perfect for me! Who doesn’t love doing a good Primark haul?!
  8. Sony Cybershot W830 8x Zoom Compact Digital Camera (Pink) :
    camera
Okay, so the only camera I have really is the camera on my phone – which is decent, but not that great. I’d love to have my first adult dedicated camera! This one just has some really good reviews, and  just seems like a great choice for a first camera to me. I love taking photos and would really like to get even more invested in taking photos and videos!
  9. Casio CTK-1200AD Full Size Starter Keyboard:
keyboardI don’t really know how to play any instruments, but I’m really interested in learning how to play one. I feel like a keyboard would be a nice instrument to begin with!
  10. Ever Us 14ct Yellow Gold 1.50ct Two Stone Diamond Twist Ring:
    ring.png
…Because a girl can dream, amiright?

So, there’s my Christmas Wishlist! Of course, I don’t actually expect to get any of these items – it’s just really fun to make a list! Don’t knock it until you try it. What an insane Christmas that would be though!

What do you want for Christmas? Have you made a Christmas Wishlist? If you have or if you do, please send me the link in the comments below – I find these so fun to look through!

What I Hate / Love About The Colder Seasons.

Okay so I’m going to be real honest with you guys here. I’m happy for you all that you’re so excited for Autumn – really, I am. But for me? I hate the bringing of the colder months, with a passion. I don’t just dislike the colder months, they genuinely make me feel incredibly depressed. But hey ho, what can you do eh?

To get some of my hatred for the colder seasons off my chest, I decided to write some things I hate about them, and then some things I love about them to leave me feeling a bit more positive about what’s to come.

What I Hate About The Colder Seasons:

uglyautumn.jpg

  1. Everything starts to die and/or hibernate and hide away. All forms of life find the cold so difficult to actually be present in, that they feel the need to reserve their energy to simply stay warm, and stop leaving their homes to be outdoors. I personally hate going outside when it’s cold – Celsius’ in the 20s is my jam and I absolutely adore the warmth of the sun on my bare skin. Sorry guys, I really do hate the cold and being too uncomfortable to just go outside and get some fresh air.

    uglywinter

  2. When so many of the same people who scream “it’s too hot, I miss Winter!” during the Summer, are the people saying “it’s too damn cold, I miss the Summer” during Winter… Come on guys, be decisive. I’m 100% a Summer lover, and will ALWAYS despise the cold.

    uglyautumn1.jpg

  3. Not really being able to wear body-confident, flattering clothing. I only recently became sort-of happy with how my body looks, and was really embracing wearing high-waisted shorts and little tops. Now I’m just going to be back to hiding my body away in bulky clothing!

    uglywinter1.jpg

  4. IT’S JUST TOO DAMN COLD TO EVER BE COMFORTABLE. You either have to wear a billion layers and be uncomfortable from having so many items of clothing rubbing against your body, or, you have to be really cold and get to wear a more comfortable amount of clothing. Even with loads of layers on, I still end up being too cold during the Winter months – especially my legs!

    uglyautumn2

  5. My Birthday. I turn 24 on October 17th, and let me tell you, it’s coming at me way too quickly. I’m at terms with my aging, but I just wish I had a little longer to achieve my yearly goals before I get run over by the continuous cycle of birthdays.

    uglywinter2

  6. Buying Christmas presents. I actually love buying people gifts, but what I don’t like is buying things that the person I give them to probably won’t end up liking all that much. Being an adult, most of the people within my social life are also adults, and already have the funds to purchase whatever it is they desire in life. Finding something for them that they both haven’t already bought for themselves, and that they genuinely would adore, is really flipping difficult.

    uglyautumn3.jpg

  7. How rubbish it looks outside during the colder months. No sunshine, just grey and white clouds filling the skies and looming over everybody. There’s not much to look at either, I mean, it’s all dead. Yeah so the dying leaves on trees turn pretty colours, but they’re still DEAD. I much rather see nice and healthy ALIVE leaves!

    uglywinter3.jpg

  8. The weather, oh God the weather. Rain galore, proudly drenching all my billions of bulky layers and my once-perfect makeup in it’s wake. Icy winds, so cold that they make my cheeks burn and make my nose run. Add the two together, and you get inverted, spiky umbrellas to have to deal with. I hate the weather we get during the colder seasons, it’s the absolute worst.

    uglyautumn4.jpg

  9. THAT IT NEVER SEEMS TO END… Here in good ol’ London, the colder seasons seem to last more like 3.67 seasons rather than their appointed 2. Yep, according to Accuweather, London averages out at only 30 days a year where the high temperature is 22 degrees Celcius. It just drags on and on and on, and when it finally gets warm it’s just a little sprint that lasts for a couple weeks, then cold again for ages before the next warm sprint, or “heat waves” as most Brits like to call it. That’s how cold it always is here, we actually have a dramatic name for when it feels warm in England.

    uglywinter4

  10. FOMO with Lush products, or ‘fear of missing out’. Lush brings out tons of new products for Halloween, Christmas and Valentine’s Day, and also add a bunch of new ones to their permanent line after the Lush Summit which occurs every September. This also means a whole bunch of discons just weeks beforehand, and will also mean that more seasonal products will begin appearing in the Lush Kitchen (which won’t generally happen during the rest of the year.) Basically, this means that I personally feel a LOT of pressure to purchase many, many Lush products during the colder months, in fear that I will miss out on said products if I do not do so! This then leads to loss of a lot of money, tons of products to have to find a place to stash in my little flat, and excess of products that turn less and less fresh everyday. I STILL have SO MANY products in my stash, mostly purchased during the Boxing Day sale last year. They’re no longer as fresh as they were back then and, lo and behold, Halloween and Christmas products have already been released once again in Lush.

Things I Love About The Colder Seasons:

beautifulautumn.jpg

  1. I do love how cozy I can be during the colder seasons. I find it difficult to drink hot drinks, soups, stews and heavy meals when it is warm in England, so it’s really nice to be able to indulge in those things again. I also don’t cozy up to my partner so much in the warmer months because of how sticky and uncomfortable that can get, so it will be lovely to be able to do that again! + nice, hot baths…

    beautifulwinter.jpg

  2. Okay so, although I do generally prefer Summertime clothing, I am really excited to break in some of my new clothing items that I bought from Primark recently! I have a gorgeous pair of high waited, black skinny jeans that I’m really looking forward to wearing, and am also looking forward to getting to wear all my new shirts, hoodies, jumpers and hats more! I have a few new pairs of shoes made from waterproof material that I’m also looking forward to getting more use out of!

    beautifulautumn1.jpg

  3. Although there’s nothing I prefer than being outdoors, I’m a pretty lazy lady. When it’s too cold to go outside and I pretty much HAVE to spend my spare time indoors, it’s nice to allow myself to read, go on my laptop, watch T.V. etc without feeling too much guilt!

    beautifulwinter1.jpg

  4. Everyone being so happy on Christmas, and all at the same time. Unless they don’t celebrate it of course, but most people here do! It’s such a nice and cheerful day, everything just feels so positive and happy on Christmas, and it is a day I’m looking forward to 🙂

    beautifulautumn2.jpg

  5. The start of a new term of education. I will be attending University toward the end of September, and the start of a new term is always the most exciting and least stressful time I find (although, I do still find it pretty stressful at this time of year!) Everything is new again – new stationary, new teachers, new classes, new learning material, a new opportunity to make new friends and to attend new societies… It’s just all fresh and fun(ner) at this time of year!

    beautifulwinter2.jpg

  6. The colder months are the months where almost all of my family members’ Birthdays fall within. We kick off with my mother’s on 20th September, then mine on 17th October, then my younger brother’s and sister’s on the 12th November, then my older brother’s on 1st December, and then my eldest sister’s on 16th December. Phew! Add in the start of a new term at Uni, Halloween, Firework’s night, Christmas (+Christmas Eve and Boxing Day,) New Years Day and Valentines Day, and we have an extremely eventful couple of seasons this time of year!

    beautifulautumn3.jpg

  7. I guess the cold, drab months help me to appreciate the warmer ones even more than I already would do, right?

    beautifulwinter3.jpg

  8. Makeup not sweating off of my face and / or becoming oily so quickly! I HATE how sticky my face gets when it’s warm, so I am really looking forward to my face staying a bit more matte in the colder seasons.

    beautifulautumn4.jpg

  9. All the beautiful things specific to the colder months – such as pumpkin lanterns being out on Halloween, all the Bonfires and fireworks for Guy Fawkes Night, Christmas lights lighting up every highstreet, Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, peeping through people’s windows to see a glorious Christmas tree, fireworks on New Years… All very beautiful!

    beautifulwinter4

  10. Last but not least, not really needing to shave. I hate the process of shaving my legs with a passion. To be able to get away with NOT having shaved legs the majority of the time will be pretty nice actually.

That’s it from me for now!

Lush Yog Log Roulade Review

Good morning my lovelies and welcome to this blog post!

Today’s review is of a product that isn’t THAT appropriate for this season. It was a Christmas exclusive product last year, but I’ve only just finished up my piece and really want to review it while it is still fresh in my mind! Sorry for the randomness!

Remember, I always review Lush products AFTER having used up the entire product, so that I have a well informed opinion before I write a review!

I hope you enjoy 🙂

Yog Log Roulade:

Rating: 4/5*

Cons:

This stuff runs out so fast, and is really expensive. I bought a piece of Yog Log Roulade that was big enough to cut into 8 slices, and it cost me around £13 – in the half price Boxing Day sale! So, 8 pretty thin slices of this stuff (size of slice shown in photo) would have normally cost me £26. Each slice lasted around 2 or 3 days as a hand soap in me and my partner’s bathroom sink. I just personally found this product to be a luxury, and not the sort of thing anyone would want to buy to use on a regular basis!

Yog Log Roulade was an exclusive product for the Christmas season in 2016, and is no longer available to buy. It may not even become available for the Christmas season this year, so it has very limited availability! If you do happen to get your hands on some of this product, and happen to fall in love with it, you’re going to have a tough time stocking up on the stuff!

I didnt like the colour of Yog Log Roulade. ‘Yog Nog’, the soap version of this roulade, had a creamy, orangey, mustard yellow colour to it, whereas Yog Log had a more biscuity, beige brown colour to it. It didn’t look that appealing to me personally!

I didn’t like the scent of Yog Log as much as that of Yog Nog either. It had a sort of creamy, biscuity scent, mixed in with the scent of play dough. If you want to purchase Yog Log because you love the scent of Yog Nog then don’t – they do not smell the same!

This is a pretty messy soap product, because of how soft and buttery it is. Pieces of the product would cling to sides of my sink as I’d wash my hands, which was pretty annoying.

The texture of Yog Log might not be something that everyone likes. It has a slightly grainy, creamy, buttery texture. I quite enjoyed the texture but I do know some people who hate anything that they consider to feel “slimy”, which they may find this product to be!

This is, supposedly, an incredibly moisturising soap. I however did not find this to be the case. I didn’t find this soap to be incredibly drying, but I definitely didn’t find it to be moisturising.

Pros:

The scent of Yog Log Roulade is sweet, biscuity and creamy. It is quite a nice scent!

The whole experience of using Yog Log feels like a luxurious treat, which is always nice! It has a sweet and creamy scent, a buttery texture – it is a very decadent product, and with a price to match! This is a really nice soap to use as a treat 🙂

I think the overall appearance of the product and how it is put together is really fun. It reminds me of a delicious Swiss Roll cake! Lovely!

I like the colour of wax that is used on the outside of Yog Log. It is a nice, bright, sunny yellow colour!

This is certainly a unique soap. I have never used a soap like this in my life, and it was definitely a fun novelty!

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, I’m not really sure what I think of this product. While using it I was sure that it was a product I really enjoyed, but looking back, I’m not sure if it was really quite as good as I thought it was!

I think bottom line, this is a luxury product. It makes a terrible everyday sort of soap, because it just doesn’t last long as all and is a bit messy – and is also REALLY expensive! If used as a luxury product though – like how I used my Yog Log up in just a few weeks, then this soap provides a really lovely experience for the user.

Overall, I’m going to rate this product a 4/5* rating. It did its job well, and was a lovely and luxurious product to use, but it just wasn’t quite enough to get a 5 star rating from me!

Lush Reindeer Rock Soap Review

This is for the new design of the Reindeer Rock soap from the exclusive Christmas range in 2016. I only just used up this soap a little while ago – here is my review of the product!

Lush Reindeer Rock Soap

Rating: 4/5*

Cons:

This soap doesn’t smell like anything incredible. It sort of smells slightly sweet and tangy, very floral, fresh and citrusy. Mostly floral and citrusy. It doesn’t have a bad scent, it just isn’t anything absolutely amazing in my opinion!

You can’t buy a specific amount of this soap. It comes in one set size and shape, so if you wanted to try a sample or if you wanted to buy a bigger piece of the soap, you’d be out of luck! Steer clear of this soap if you enjoy picking the amount of soap you want to purchase!

This soap was a Christmas exclusive product from 2016. This means you can’t buy it in store anymore – and it may not even return next Christmas! If you do somehow get your hands on some of this soap, and happen to really love it, you’re going to have a difficult time stocking up on the stuff!

Back to the scent – it wasn’t very Christmasy at all. The scent is more of a Spring/Summer scent to me!

This soap has quite a Christmasy name and also has quite a Christmasy appearance. This is a con, because it means that it may feel strange to use this soap during other times of the year. The scent and the appearance of this soap just do not go well together in my opinion!

I found this soap to be drying on my hands. Not extremely so, but I did notice a tiny little bit of dry skin on a couple of different days when I had been using Reindeer Rock as my hand soap.

Pros:

This soap looks absolutely gorgeous! It is in the shape of a stone, and is a gorgeous vibrant blue colour. It also has a caveman-style reindeer engraved into the top of it, which is coloured with golden lustre. The main blue soap itself also has golden lustre running all the way through it, which looks absolutely stunning.

Reindeer Rock soap lathers up wonderfully, and stays in tact pretty well. It only started breaking up once there was hardly any soap left at all, and it lathered up well fairly consistently.

I think the smell is quite pleasant. Again, not amazing, but it definitely is nice and entirely unoffensive.

The colour of the soap stays until the soap is completely gone. This, I have found, is quite rare with a Lush soap! The colour does fade, but it is definitely still a bright blue colour until its last use.

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, me and my partner really enjoyed using this soap. It is probably the best lathering soap I have used from Lush to this day, stays together better than any Lush soap I have used to this day, and also retains its colour better than any Lush soap I have used to this day.

It wasn’t perfect though – but it definitely was a pleasure to use!

Overall, I’m going to rate this soap a 4/5* rating. If the scent was more down my alley, it would have been a 5* rating!

Lush Snow Fairy Fun Review

This was a 2016 Christmas exclusive item! I hope you enjoy this review!

Snow Fairy Fun (200g):

Rating: 3/5*

Cons:

This was a Christmas Exclusive item from Lush for 2016. This means that it isn’t just readily available, and may not even return for Christmas at Lush this year. If you happen to get your hands on one of these Fun bars, and happen to LOVE it, you’re going to have a difficult time restocking on the stuff!

This stuff is kinda awkward to use. It doesn’t work badly as a shampoo, but it isn’t easy to use as a shampoo either. It doesn’t work badly as a body wash, but it isn’t the easiest thing to use as a body wash. It makes some nice bubbles in the bath, but isn’t the most easy product to break down to form bubbles. It is amazing how multiple purpose Snow Fairy Fun is, but it isn’t very easy to use for any one of those purposes! Basically, Snow Fairy Fun is a little bit difficult to use.

I left my Snow Fairy Fun on the side of my bath tub for the longest amount of time. Each time I’d grab a piece of product to use, a little more water would come into contact with the Fun bar. Over time, this caused the consistency of the Fun bar to become really sticky, moist and incredibly difficult to use fully. This is a product that becomes messy very quickly. You’ve been warned!

The scent of Snow Fairy Fun is identical to the smell of bubblegum. It is funny, because I have never related the scent of Snow Fairy shower gel or Snow Fairy body conditioner to having a bubblegum scent, but the Fun bar definitely does! A super sickly, sweet, traditional bubblegum scent. If you don’t like the sweet scent of bubblegum, this product isn’t the one for you!

Not only was this product not the easiest thing to use in the world, it also wasn’t the most effective. It was sort of an all-round meh product.

This Fun bar comes with some cute paper wings and a wand, so that you can use the Fun bar like modelling clay and make yourself a little Snow Fairy. If however, you do not create a model with your Fun bar right away and instead leave the paper pieces wrapped around the bar as you use it, over time the paper pieces will become quite mushy and sort of meld with the bar itself. Basically, the paper wings and wand becomes a part of the Fun bar itself. If this sounds kinda annoying to you then perhaps this isn’t the Fun bar for you!

I eventually potted my Fun into an old black pot from Lush. While in this pot, the Fun bar sometimes would separate, and there would be a layer of watery oil on top of very thick, very dry Snow Fairy Fun. This is because by the time I potted my Fun bar, it was already more of a very thick liquid rather than a solid. I can’t think of anything to compare the consistency to! Either way, it was very difficult to mix the Fun bar back up into a more usable consistency when this would happen.

If I hadn’t moved the Fun bar into a black pot, the product would have leaked out of its plastic wrapper and all over the side of my bath tub. It was quite a hassle to put my Fun bar into a black pot once the product had already become really sticky and moist!

Pros:

I mostly used Snow Fairy Fun to shave with. It worked just fine to do this with – not perfectly, but just fine. If you are on the hunt for a new shaving cream, maybe this Fun bar would work for you!

I bought this Fun bar during the Boxing Day sales, and only used it up Sunday 8th May. That’s 4-5 months worth of using this product – and I did use it quite frequently! This is a very long lasting product.

The concept, colours and scent of Snow Fairy Fun are really cute! I mean, it’s called Snow Fairy, smells like bubblegum, is pink, white and gold and comes with a set of wings and a wand so that you can build your own Snow Fairy. How cute is that?! This is the type of product that would be absolutely perfect as a gift for a little girly girl – or for any lady who has an inner little girly girl!

Again, this Fun bar is incredibly multi-purpose. You can use it to shampoo your hair, wash your entire body, provide yourself with a nice bubbly bubble bath to bathe, can be used to play with in the bath as a bit of entertainment AND, as I discovered, can be used to shave with! One product that is designed to do practically everything. Everyone needs one of these in their home!

Snow Fairy Fun being so multi-purpose also makes it the perfect product to travel with – at least when it is still a dry product! I brought a different Fun bar with me to Turkey in the, and it was absolutely amazing!

This is a vegan, natural, handmade product from Lush 🙂

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, I’m going to miss having a good ol’ Fun bar in the house. They are just so incredibly useful to have around! I haven’t quite got the nack of how best to store them yet though – I know that next time I’m definitely going to make a model before anything else, and then pot the product straight away. I just need to figure out how best to avoid introducing moisture into the product! Perhaps I could wrap most of the product up and put it away somewhere, and just have one segment in use at all times. I don’t know.

This specific Fun bar was quite nice – although the scent was definitely a bit too sweet for me. I also really wasn’t keen on the paper parts that came with this bar, and just found them to be a bit of a pain. I also don’t like that this is an exclusive product.

The concept of Snow Fairy Fun is brilliant though, and the product itself is a travelers best friend!

Overall, I’m going to rate Snow Fairy Fun a 3/5* rating. It was definitely mostly a good product – as I think all Fun bars are. I just wasn’t keen on the scent of it, and I wish they were a little easier to use and a bit more effective!

Lush Let The Good Times Roll Fresh Cleanser Review

I’m so gutted that I’ve finished this cleanser up! It was such a pleasure to use. I bought it using a gift card during the Boxing Day sale last year, and I only just finished it yesterday, so it has lasted me around 4 1/2 months in total! I hope you enjoy my review 🙂

Let The Good Times Roll Fresh Cleanser (100g):

Rating: 5/5*

Cons:

This product smells so good. If you find it difficult to resist things that smell absolutely incredible, well, you may find yourself accidentally trying to taste this cleanser… I wish I was joking, but I genuinely licked this cleanser… On more than one occasion… It didn’t even taste bad! After watching tons of videos where YouTubers describe their first impressions of this product on cleanser, I know I’m not the only one who has tried to steal a taste!

I know this cleanser lasted me a while, but it didn’t feel long enough honestly. You’re going to feel like this product runs out really quickly, because it is such a nice product to use that you’re just going to want it to last forever!

Okay, if this stuff gets in your eye, even just a little bit of it, you’re screwed. Okay, not screwed, but your eyes will really, really hurt. The consistency of this cleanser is pretty much like sand, so just imagine little grains of damp sand in your eyes… Not very pleasant. If you have sensitive eyes then perhaps you should give a different Lush cleanser a try.

The scent of this cleanser is super sweet, and is definitely the sort of scent that after continuous use, most people will probably start to find quite sickly. If you don’t like super sweet scents then steer clear of LLGTR!

This cleanser has a great consistency in general, but sometimes it is difficult to know how much product you need to get the desired scrubbiness. I would apply some of the cleanser to my face, begin scrubbing it around and after just 20 seconds or so, I’d find that I needed to apply more cleanser to my face. I like to rub my cleanser into my skin for around 90 seconds, to make sure I’m making full use of all of those good properties of the cleanser. If you’re not into the idea of having to re-apply your cleanser whilst cleansing, try a different cleanser 🙂

This is a very foody cleanser. Some people might not like rubbing a food-like product onto their face!

Pros:

This cleanser will make your face baby soft, silky smooth and feel super moisturised. The texture of my skin was instantly improved upon using this product – any bumps were just completely smoothed out. My skin always, ALWAYS felt AMAZING after using this cleanser! If you want your facial skin to feel amazing, try this cleanser!

The smell of this cleanser is so lovely – it’s always nice to cleanse your face with something that smells good! It smells like digestive biscuits, gingerbread, popcorn, caramel… All good things! I like the thought of my face smelling like sweet biscuits 🙂

A massive pro for me is that this cleanser doesn’t really get stuck in your hairline. I find that with a lot of Lush cleansers, little bits will get stuck in my hairline, but that doesn’t happen with LLTGR at all! If this is something you have had trouble with in the past with Lush’s cleansers, try this one!

This cleanser does a great job of actually cleansing my skin! 😀

I quite like the name of this product. ‘Let The Good Times Roll’ just sounds so positive!

This is a vegan cleanser.

This cleanser lasts quite a good amount of time! It lasted me 4 1/2 months before I used it all up. I admit that I have also been using a few other cleansers during that time, but I have predominantly been using LLTGR!

I find this fresh cleanser so easy to make a mixture with. What I do is wet my face and hands fully. I then grab a fairly small blob of cleanser, and place it into the palm of my hand. I use any left-over droplets of water on my fingers and hand to mix the cleanser into a smooth, even texture. Once I’ve achieved this, I just apply it to my face! I rub it around for 90 seconds, and then rinse it off. Perfection!

Okay, this kinda shouldn’t be a pro because it isn’t something you should do, but this cleanser tastes pretty good…

I really like the texture of LLGTR! The smell of it and texture of it genuinely makes me feel like I am rubbing crushed up Biscoff biscuits onto my face! Super fun! 🙂

This cleanser technically expired on the 2nd March, but it has been absolutely find to use for an additional 2 months and a week after this date. If you’re worried about your product going off then as long as you are using it continuously, you don’t have anything to worry about! The scent, appearance, texture and effectiveness of my cleanser didn’t change at all for the entire duration that I used it for.

The ingredients of this cleanser are pretty natural!

Overall Conclusion:

Overall, this cleanser was amazing! It made my face feel incredible, and it smelt really good! I loved the consistency of it too 🙂

I’m going to rate this cleanser a 5/5* rating!

I know I’ve been giving everything a 5/5* rating recently – I guess I’ve just been using some really good products up! My ratings are definitely honest though, and take into account all the pros and cons of the product. My face has just possibly never ever felt as amazing after cleansing as it does after using Let The Good Times Roll! I would HIGHLY recommend trying this cleanser. I know it seems a little gimmicky and even hyped up, but it is with very good reason! This truly is a very good cleanser 🙂
